Spring time in my sketchbook – Painting apple blossoms

Today I have something a bit different for you, a calm painting video in which I sketch apple blossoms. I enjoy spring time so much, the apple and cherry orchards are always breathtakingly beautiful when they’re in bloom – and it’s always over so soon! This year, I managed to paint some apple blossoms in my sketchbook just in time.

Join me for this relaxing painting video, there’s no voiceover, no music, just a few bird and nature sounds and the subtle painting sounds of course.

Here’s the video:

    • Thank you Nancy! I thought it might be nice because there are so many birds hiding in those apple trees. 🙂

  2. I agree – it was so relaxing to watch you paint without commentary, just the birds in the background. Thanks! I do have to ask about that brush though. It seemed to give you such control.

    • Thank you Sheila! Most probably my brush was a size 0 or 1 round brush. These are great for very small areas.
