Explore sketching the natural world and improve your drawing skills

Hi, I’m Julia – an illustrator, nature sketcher, and teacher.
I’m passionate about drawing and a big fan of keeping a sketchbook as a way to connect with nature. I help artists to improve their sketching skills and develop a loose but precise painting style through observing and exploring nature.
My sketchbook is my most important tool for documenting what I see, for creative experiments and discovery. I feel that combining precise drawings with a loose watercolor is the best of both worlds – you get to all the interesting details in the sketching stage and can enjoy the intuitive flow of watercolor.
