A fresh start

Just like with a piece of blank paper, I’ve recently decided that I want a fresh start with my blog. In the past few years I’ve shared countless posts about calligraphy and lettering, compiled resources and taught several online courses. It has been a wonderful journey, and like many journeys it took a few turns, and now it's time for me to embrace a new direction.

I started this blog three years ago, and at the time I was very focused on my love for lettering and calligraphy, and that was mainly what I was writing about. A lot of people started to follow me on that path. I still love lettering, but in my daily work as an illustrator it's not my sole focus anymore, and for a while now I have felt a bit torn as to what kind of content I could present to the readers that came here because of lettering posts only. My work has changed, and so has the content and focus of this blog. I've decided to archive the lettering content and let the blog have a bit more breathing room to develop into something new as I grow into a different person, too.

I still like sharing details about my work, and all the kind people I met still mean a lot to me. I want to thank every one of you who has written in, commented, or taken one of my classes in the past - I deeply appreciate your support! It is, however, time to start over with fresh content, as for me the journey continues with a focus on my illustration work, online classes and more things that I can’t talk about yet.

The old posts aren’t entirely lost, I will surely revisit the most popular topics in a new form in the future, most likely in new online classes or on Youtube.

Thank you for all of your support!

Any future blog posts will be found in this new space. Hope to see you around!
